Guatemala has the lowest cost
of living in Central America. As a tourist destination it
represents one of the last real values for your pocketbook. The
buck stretches a long way here. The currency in Guatemala is the
Quetzale. The exchange rate varies between seven and eight
quetzales for one US dollar.
