You have created something amazing! I have now finished my second visit to Xela. Omce again, my brain is stretched –hopefully because there is more Spanish in it.
The school, the city, the guesthouse and especially your staff is great.
Christian was again patient, fu, smart, friendly and welcoming.
I hope and intend to come back again next year for more classes, more travel and a trek to San Cristobal for Dia de Diablo.

Michal arrived here a week before I came straight from San Marcos and with no time we felt at home. The staff here is warm and very helpful. They care for you! Wait for the Friday lunch it is fabulous to taste different cuisines from the worls that the tenants cook. In short, you got to the right place in Xela to stay!

I want to thank and congratulate Sary and the amazing teachers and
staff at Miguel de Cervantes. I have attended a number of schools in the
Xela area. I believe Miguel de Cervantes is Xela's best kept secret. The
teachers and staff were very knowledgeable and professional, yet
considerate and friendly. They took an active interest in my life, which
only gave me more confidence with the language. I needed to learn
Spanish because I am a teacher back in the states and most of my
students are Latinos. I must say I was surprised at my progress. When I
arrived in Xela I knew little to no Spanish. I am now able to have
conversations with my students. Thank you for everything!

Thank you so much for this wonderful experience here in Xela! I have loved everything about it – the country and especially the people. My teacher was a perfect fit and we had so much fun together!

I am so happy that I came on this trip and to this school! All the people in the school are lovely, but I feel extra extra fortunate to have had Leticia as my teacher. The hours I spent with her were all very happy and interesting and fun. It was all pure pleasure to be with her. I hope she enjoyed all the walking around and constant chatting also. Just what I needed and wanted.
The excursions were good and all so smooth, in terms of the going and coming.
Thank you for the pleasant experience and good care. I will give you good recommendations!!

I was only able to stay in Xela if or a short while. But the Miguel de Cervantes Spanish School will be one of my fondest memories of Xela. I attended Spanish classes for a few days, and now I will go out to the rest of Central America and practice what I have learned. Thank you for the experience!!

I suppose no one truly knows where this crazy journey will take no one...But no one is upset when some one comes along and its not just anyone. So when I entered the school I was tired traveler- Sary was at the door with a bright smile and a warm welcome. – The school was such a friendly warm place to stay that my “I am only going to stay one night in Xela turned into 8 days”.
